| Dogri shot stories “Pandran Kahanian” released | | | Early Times Report
Jammu , Apr 27: Pawan Kotwal Divisional Commissioner Jammu released a new book of collection of Dogri Shot Stories “ Pandran Kahanian” by Dr. Manoj a leading short stories writer of Dorgri Pawan Kotwal was the Chief Guest in the function organized by Dogri Sanstha Jammu and senior advocate Ashok Vijay Gupta presided over the function which was attended by a galaxy of writers, intellectuals, Doctors, Technocrats and other prominent members of the civil society.
As per a release, Pawan Kotwal while speaking in the function complimented and congratulated Dr. Manoj for having written a book of high literally merit. He said there is a need to work for the promontion and development of Dogri literature and languages and Culture. Prof. Lalit Magotra, presented a critical appreciation of the stories contained in the released book. He said Manoj is an exceptionally brilliant short story wrtier. His stories havae raised the standard of Dogri short stories and has widened the horizon of Dogri Literature. He stressed that he is the only Dogri writer who has written short stories concerning all the three regions of the State, that is Dogri Kashmiri and Ladhakhi.
The programme was conducted by Dr. Shashi Pathania, the head of Dogri Department and a prominent short stories writer in her own right who punctuated the proceeding of the programme with her literary, comments and observation the release added.
