Udhampur, June 24: In a significant move to ensure the smooth and secure conduct of the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2025, SSP Udhampur, Sh. Amod Nagpure-IPS chaired a comprehensive briefing session for the Police officers designated for the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2025.l, duties. The meeting was held at DPL Udhampur.
Key aspects discussed during the session included enhanced security measures along vulnerable points of the route, effective traffic regulation and contingency plans for emergencies. Officers were also instructed to provide timely assistance to pilgrims and maintain close coordination with disaster management teams.
SSP emphasized community engagement, real-time monitoring, and prompt reporting of any suspicious activity to ensure a safe pilgrimage experience.
Later, SSP Udhampur also interacted with the newly joined Probationary DysP and Sub-Inspectors (PSIs).
He welcomed them to the district briefed them on their roles and responsibilities and encouraged them to uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in the line of duty.
