| Abid peshawari’s ‘Rahiman rang’ released | | | Early times report Jammu , Apr 27: In an function organized by the Anjuman Farogh-e-Urdu Jammu and Kashmir Jammu at K.L.Saigal Hall of the Cultural Academy a book of Urdu “Dohas” Rehamin Rang penned by Late Professor Abid Peshawari was released. Function was presided over by Dr. Zahur-ud Din Ved Bhasi Principal Govt College of Education M.L. Parwana was the chief guest and guest of honour respectively. President of the Anjuman Amin Banihali also shared the stage. As per a release, Amin Banihali welcomed the audience in this august meeting where a well known research scholar and critic, writer and a poet Abid Peshawari was being remembered through his recently published book. The main paper was read over by Dr. T.R. Raina who had worked under Abid. While giving some general information about the author Raina threw light on the dohas appreciating the subjects touched and the simple languagae in which they have been written. Raina also made a mention of the recently published book by the Urdu Academy Delhi “ Intikhab-e-Kalam abid Peshawari” wherein some selected ghazals of Abid have been published. That book too was released along with Raheamin Rang. Arsh sehbai, a well known poet of the country also read out an article about the book of dohas and viewed it critically. Other who spoke about the late author and his book included Dr. Daljeet Verma and Liaqat Jaffri the release added.
