Samba, June 24: Army Public School Samba successfully conducted a two-day Workshop on June 23 and 24, 2025, focusing on the key areas of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, National Curriculum Framework (NCF), Classroom Management, and Competency-Based Lesson Planning. The workshop aimed at enhancing the professional skills of educators to align with the evolving pedagogical practices and reforms in the Indian education system. The workshop was conducted in five structured sessions, each designed to provide in-depth insights and hands-on experience in implementing the objectives of NEP 2020 and NCF in day-to-day teaching. The sessions also emphasized the integration of 21st-century skills, student engagement strategies, and outcome-based planning in the classroom environment. Distinguished resource person, Mrs Anjali Gupta (Certified Teacher Trainer) led the sessions, sharing their expertise and engaging participants through interactive discussions, group tasks, and reflective exercises. The sessions focused on the Understanding the vision and framework of NEP 2020, Key features and implementation strategies of the NCF, Effective Classroom Management techniques for inclusive learning, Embedding 21st-century skills into lesson delivery and Developing Competency-Based Lesson Plans aligned with learning outcomes. Speaking on the occasion, Principal APS Samba, Mr Sanjeev Pradhan, emphasized the importance of continuous professional development and commended the enthusiastic participation of the faculty members. “Workshops like these are essential to ensure our educators are well-equipped to nurture students with relevant knowledge, skills, and values.
