| Div Com office building nearing completion | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, APRIL 27 - Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Dr. Pawan Kotwal today convened a meeting to review the progress in the construction of Divisional Commissioner office at Rail Head Complex, Jammu. The Jammu Kashmir Project Construction Corporation (JKPCC) is the executing agency for the project.
Vice Chancellor, JDA, Mr. P.K Pole, DGM, JKPCC Unit-IV, S. Harbans Singh Johal and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
During the meeting, the Divisional Commissioner was apprised that the construction work on the building is going on at a fast pace. The multi-storied office complex will house the different offices on the second, third and fourth floors while as the ground floor will have a reception / circulation center. The basement of the building will function as car parking.
In the meeting, threadbare discussions were held regarding launching of J&K e-governance project in the newly constructed Divisional Commissioner office. It was informed that the State Data Centre (SDC) and J&K State Wide Area Network (JKSWAN) will be set up in the said building for smooth flow of information between different wings.
Divisional Commissioner asked the concerned officers to complete the remaining work within stipulated timeframe and ensure that all the technical norms are adhered while execution of works.
