Early Times Report JAMMU, June 25: Dr. Mandeep Singh Azad, Scientist, Directorate of Extension, proudly represented SKUAST-J, at the XII International Rangeland and Grassland Congress 2025, held from 2nd to 6th July 2025 at the Adelaide Convention Center, Adelaide, Australia. Dr. Azad delivered a talk and presented his research in an oral session, on his work titled "Use of Ethnoveterinary Practices Among Transhumant/Pastoral Farmers in Hilly Areas of Jammu and Kashmir, India. He was awarded a prestigious international fellowship by the International Rangeland Congress (IRC). His presentation received wide appreciation for highlighting indigenous knowledge systems and their scientific relevance in sustainable livestock health management. This esteemed global event brought together over 600 delegates from 51 countries, including leading scientists, researchers, policymakers, farmers, and Indigenous representatives from around the world. |
