'THE - SARA' Reconstructs Wall of Shanti Sthal Samshan Ghat | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, June 28: As part of its ongoing commitment to community welfare under 'Project C.A.R.E', a registered non-governmental organization 'THE - SARA' has successfully reconstructed the boundary wall of Shanti Sthal Samshan Ghat in Poonch, which had suffered damage due to cross-border shelling. The rebuilt wall was formally handed over to Sh. Khetar Paul Sharma President of Sanatan Dharam Sabha Poonch, in the presence of Sh. Mohd. Sayeed, JKAS, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Poonch, Sh. Azhar Majeed Tehsildar Haveli, Sh. Kamal Singh President SCHH, local community members and 'THE - SARA' representatives led by Ms. Manpreet Kour. The initiative was aimed at restoring dignity and safety to an important spiritual and public space used by the local population. Speaking on the occasion, President of Sanatan Dharam Sabha Poonch Sh. Khetar Paul Sharma while appreciating the contribution of 'THE - SARA' said, "Restoring structures like the Samshan Ghat is not just about rebuilding walls - it's about rebuilding the faith and strength of our people." Members of the 'THE - SARA' reaffirmed their commitment to serving cross-border shelling affected communities of Poonch and called for continued support from the public and well-wishers to expand such relief and reconstruction efforts. It is pertinent to mention since the launch of 'Project C.A.R.E' 'THE - SARA' has touched more than 150 families in Poonch by providing them ration kits, educational kits and over-head water tanks. |
