| Notorious drug peddler arrested by police; poppy straw recovered | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, June 28: Police Team of Police Station Rehambal led by its SHO while performing Patrolling/checking duty at Naka Point Flata intercepted one suspicious person who was coming from Garnai side and moving towards Tikri on foot and turned to be suspicious as he turned back and start moving backwards on seeing police team but was apprehended.
On the frisking of said person namely Rafaqat Hussain S/OMohd. Rafiq R/O Kouri, Judda, Reasi. Police team recovered 4.496 kg of poppy straw like contraband substance from the above said accused person who has been arrested on spot.
In this regard, A Case FIR No. 97/2025 U/S 8/15 NDPS Act has been registered in PS Rehambal.
Further investigation of case is underway. |
