| Police foils 2 bovine smuggling attempts 2 arrested | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, June 28: Case 1 (PS Rehambal): One individual namely Javed Ahmed Kasana S/O Abdul Qayoom, R/O Doru, Anantnag was found illegally transporting 02 bovines in a cruel manner without valid permission in vehicle number JK02CR6093. The accused was arrested on the spot and both bovines were safely rescued. FIR No.96/2025 under Sections 223 BNS, 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Rehambal.
Case 2 (PP Battal Ballian): Another individual Arun Kumar S/O Rashpal R/O Samba was found smuggling 04 bovines from Jammu towards Kashmir in a vehicle number JK21C4107. The police team of PP Battal Ballian safely rescued all four bovines and arrested the accused on the spot. FIR No. 234/2025 under Sections 223 BNS, 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Udhampur. Investigation is underway. |
