Udhampur, June 29: An awareness camp was organized on June 28 in Dhardidhiyaan village (Block Siuna, Panchayat Paklai) under the “Dharti Aaba Tribal Village Upliftment Campaign.” The primary objective of the camp was to spread awareness among the tribal community about various government welfare schemes and ensure that eligible beneficiaries avail the benefits of these schemes.
During the camp, various departments set up informative stalls where villagers were provided with detailed information about central and state government schemes. Several villagers also completed on-the-spot registrations for different schemes.
On this occasion, DPO Panchayati Raj Subash Chander Dogra, DDC Subash Chander, and other officials were present. The officials encouraged the villagers to take full advantage of the schemes and addressed their queries related to eligibility and procedures.
The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of villagers, who actively engaged with the officials and gained valuable insights into the schemes. The overall aim of the campaign was to maximize the reach of welfare programs in rural and tribal areas by connecting eligible individuals with the benefits they are entitled to receive.
