| Deck cleared for Central minimum wages in power projects in kishtwar | | |

Jammu, June 29: A deputation of Kissan Mazdoor Union affiliated to Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh lead by Rakesh Thakur president Kissan Mazdoor union, Jainder Sharma (Jitu) Naseeb Singh General Secretary, Girdhari Lal working president, Daler Singh Additional General Secretary , and Piayre lal met with the Hon’ble union power Minister Sh. Manohar Lal Khatar at his office chamber at New Delhi regarding implementation of central minimum wages and requested for permanent settlement of minimum wages dispute due to which there is too much resentment among the workers and as on date numbers of time work of national importance Hydro power projects being constructed in district kishtwar suffered due to unrest, the Hon’ble Power Minister gave patient hearing to delegation and also talked with the CMD NHPC and CVPPPL and directed for implementation of Central minimum wages with the salary of July month this will benefits more than ten thousands workers working in projects and on an average more than 4000/- per month salary will be increased.
While addressing the Media persons Ashok Choudhary and Harbans Choudhary Said that It is pertinent to mention here that Kissan Mazdoor Union under the leadership of union president Rakesh Thakur and General Secretary Naseeb Singh and under the guidance of State Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh was struggling for central minimum wages from 2022 onward and now succeeded, said in a press release
