| Rogi Kalyan Samiti for Sarwal Hospital meets | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, APRIL 28 - The Governing Body meeting of Rogi Kalyan Samiti of Government Hospital Sarwal was held at Sarwal Jammu under the chairmanship of MLA, Jammu West Constituency, Mr. Chaman Lal Gupta.
The meeting among other was attended by Medical Superintendent, Sarwal Hospital who is also Vice Chairman of the Samiti. Other members of the Samiti who attended the meeting include ADMO Jammu, Executive Engineers of R&B, PDD and PHE and Deputy Director, Information, other non-official of the Samiti were Corporator, Mr. Arun Khanna, Smt. Kanta Bhan, Dr. Raj Rishi members.
The Samiti unanimously decided to engage 6 more safaiwallas for cleanliness of the hospital and 6 helpers for smooth functioning of the hospital on contractual basis. The engagement of five private security guards was also approved.
Regarding the other issues pertaining to the purchase of furniture and Air Conditioners, the governing body deferred the matter till next meeting which is scheduled to be held on May 19, 2009. However, the Samiti accorded approval for purchase of one Laptop and one computer set for hospital.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Gupta urged the hospital authorities to work hard for providing quality service to the patients and their attendants and said that the governing body will endorse the every decision taken for the improvement of services to the patients.
He asked the hospital authorities to contact the Municipal authorities to lift the garbage dumps around the hospital.
