Kavinder meets Rajasthan CM in Jaipur; discusses J&K's transformation post Art 370 abrogation

JAIPUR, July 4: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir, Sh. Kavinder Gupta, today met with the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Bhajan Lal Sharma, at his official residence in Jaipur.
During the meeting, Kavinder Gupta briefed the Rajasthan CM about the prevailing situation in Jammu and Kashmir and the historic transformation the region has undergone since the abrogation of Article 370. He highlighted the peace, progress, and unprecedented pace of development that Jammu & Kashmir has witnessed under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Kavinder emphasized that post-August 5, 2019, the region has moved from uncertainty and turmoil to a phase of stability, economic growth, infrastructure expansion, and increased youth participation in mainstream development initiatives. He further added that the Union Territory is now emerging as a hub of tourism, investment, and cultural revival, thanks to various central government schemes being implemented efficiently on the ground. The Rajasthan Chief Minister, Sh. Bhajan Lal Sharma, while appreciating the efforts of the Modi Government in bringing lasting change to Jammu & Kashmir, said that the region is now becoming a shining example of inclusive development and national integration. He praised the resolve of the people and administration of J&K and expressed hope that the Union Territory will continue on this path of prosperity and peace.
The two leaders also discussed matters of mutual interest between the states, with a focus on cultural exchange, tourism promotion, and people-to-people ties.
Kavinder Gupta invited the Rajasthan CM to visit Jammu & Kashmir and witness the transformation firsthand. The meeting concluded on a cordial note with a shared commitment to work for a stronger, united, and progressive India under the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
