Respected community members from Gandoh and its surrounding areas were in attendance. The primary objective of the gathering was to reinforce the relationship between the police and the public. Numerous public grievances were addressed, with many being resolved on the spot. Issues that necessitated civil administration intervention were noted and will be referred for prompt action, with feedback provided to participants. During his address, SSP Doda Sh. Sandeep Mehta assured the attendees of the police force's ongoing support and the commitment to resolving legitimate concerns as swiftly as possible. He emphasized the importance of maintaining communal and societal harmony for the overall development of the region. Following the PCPG meeting, SSP Doda conducted a comprehensive crime review with supervisory officer, SHO, IC PPs, and Investigating Officers (IOs) from the Sub-division Gandoh. The review focused on all under-investigation cases from the current year, as well as backlog cases. Officers received instructions to expedite investigations, ensure quality, and maximize case resolutions. SSP Doda stressed the need to identify forward/backward links in NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) cases to eliminate drug-related crime and pinpoint habitual offenders for potential detention under the Public Safety Act (PSA). Additionally, he urged the initiation of proceedings for the attachment of property linked to these offenders. In matters related to UAPA (Unlawful Activities Prevention Act) cases, SSP Doda mandated Investigating Officers to gather circumstantial and electronic evidence to support thorough investigations, emphasizing the necessity for cases to be submitted for judicial determination based on merit. Officers were instructed to maintain surveillance on suspects, drug addicts, Over Ground Workers (OGWs), troublemakers, and individuals spreading rumors, ensuring preventive action is taken to uphold law and order at all costs. The meeting also covered updates on the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems (CCTNS), including the usage of e-Sakshya, e-Summons, and the DGsP/IGsP conference dashboard. The importance of mandatory utilization of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) services and the MedLeaPR system was also discussed. All Investigating Officers were directed to submit all Medical Legal Cases (MLCs) and postmortem reports to the relevant hospitals via the designated portal, ensuring that results are obtained through the MedLeaPR platform. The meeting highlighted the district police's determination to maintain law and order, prevent crime, and protect the rights of citizens. |
