DODA, July 5: Today, the police team of PP Kahara falling under the jurisdiction of PS Gandoh successfully identified and reunited a mentally unsound person, Manish Kumar, with his family. Manish Kumar, son of Kana Ram, resident of Nimaj, Tehsil Jaitaran, District Pali, Rajasthan, had been roaming in the jurisdiction of PP Kahara of PS Gandoh in district Doda. The police team spotted Manish Kumar roaming in Kahara area. He was taken to nearby police establishment and his verification was done. Finally it was established that the person belongs to Rajasthan.
After proper verification and hectic efforts Police could reach his family members at Rajasthan and they were informed and contacted. Accordingly father of Manish Kumar Sh Kana Ram, son of Mohan Lal, resident of Nimaj, Tehsil Jaitaran, District Pali, Rajasthan reached at PP Kahara and Manish Kumar was handed over to him.
The police team's prompt action and diligence ensured Manish Kumar's safe reunion with his family.
