Kavinder meets former Jaipur Mayors, urges to join Amarnath Yatra
7/5/2025 10:57:26 PM
JAIPUR, July 5: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Kavinder Gupta, today met with former Mayors of Jaipur, Shri Ashok Parnami and Shri Pankaj Joshi (CA), during his visit to the city.
During the meeting, Kavinder apprised the dignitaries of the present situation in Jammu & Kashmir, highlighting the significantly improved security environment and the enthusiasm among devotees participating in the ongoing Amarnath Yatra.
He informed them that the Amarnath Yatra is progressing smoothly and peacefully, with thousands of pilgrims visiting the holy shrine every day. He also appreciated the coordinated efforts of the security forces and civil administration in ensuring the Yatra's safe and uninterrupted conduct.
Shri Kavinder Gupta appealed to the former Mayors and through them to the people of Jaipur to come forward and pay obeisance at the holy cave of Baba Amarnath Ji.
"I appeal to the devotees of Rajasthan to visit the sacred shrine of Baba Amarnath Ji and seek his blessings. This spiritual journey not only strengthens personal faith but also promotes national unity and harmony," he said.
The former Mayors praised the arrangements made for the Yatra and expressed hope that more devotees from Jaipur and nearby regions would take part in this auspicious pilgrimage.
The meeting also included discussions on promoting tourism, inter-state cultural exchange, and fostering deeper ties between Jammu & Kashmir and Rajasthan.
