| Samba police nabbed 2 drug peddlers | | |  Early Times Report
SAMBA, July 6: Continuing its drive against drug smugglers & peddlers, Samba Police has arrested two drug peddlers in the jurisdiction of Police Station Bari Brahmana and recovered 13.21 grams approximately heroin (chitta) like substance from their possessions. A Police party of PS Bari Brahmana during patrolling in Bari Brahmana area, intercepted an Alto Car bearing registration No. JK20A-9454 for its checking. During checking, 13.21 grams approximately heroin like substance was recovered from the possession of two persons travelling in the said car.
The drug peddlers identified as Rahul Singh S/o Rajesh Singh Rakha R/o Chak Avtara Bishnah District Jammu and Sunil Kumar S/o Rashpaul R/o Lower Canal Bishnah District Jammu have been arrested and contraband item has been seized. The said car has also been seized in the instant case.
A case FIR No. 93/2025 U/S 8/21/22/25/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bari Barahmana and investigation started. |
