Early Times Report JAMMU, July 7: Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu has appointed Dr. Rekha Rani Sharma from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh as Advisor of Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu. According to Sh. O P Sharma, Director, JKCCA, on the recommendation of the Executive Committee of JKCCA, Dr. Rekha Rani Sharma has been appointed as Advisor of JKCCA, keeping in view her contribution & achievements in the field of art, culture, research and social work. The Executive Committee of JKCCA considered that JKCCA, Jammu would be benefitted by the words of valuable advice of Dr. Rekha Rani Sharma in making the programmes of JKCCA a grand success. He added that this year, the organization is organizing its Silver Jubilee Celebrations with various art events being held every month. It may be mentioned here that Dr. Rekha Rani Sharma, born in Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh) in 1975, has done MA: BEd; and PhD; and working as Assistant Professor at CRDMPG College, Gorakhpur. She has participated in state, national and international level art exhibitions, art workshops/ camps and seminars in different places in India and abroad viz. Kanpur, Jabalpur, Gaziabad, Gorakhpur, Ludhiana, Jhansi, New Delhi, Ernakulam, Jaipur, Nagpur, London, Hanoi, Netherlands, Kochi, Dubai, Gurgaon, Kolkatta, France, Muzaffarnagar, Amritsar, Jammu, Mumbai, Meerut, Odisha, Aurangabad, Cittara Bahraich, Vrindavan, Mathura, Chitrakoot etc. She has been forty times by various art organizations and other societies. Research papers of Dr. Rekha Rani Sharma have been published in many national and international magazines and research journals. She is also the recipient of many honours and awards, including Guinness World Record. |
