| Extension lecture on ‘education for modernization’ held | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 29: An extension lecture on socio-philosophical basis of education for modernization was organized by Dogra College of education here today.
Addressing the gathering Dr. D.P. Khajuria of K.C. College said, that education has its root in sociology and philosophy and as such modernization is an essential ingredient to live in this era of changing social and philosophical thoughts and attitude.
By his personal experience and research findings Khajuria held his audiences spell bound with his relaxed approach, impressive language and pleasing presentation. During the lecture students asked questions amply proved the achievement of the objective of extension lecture.
While welcoming Dr. Khajuria Principal, Dr. (Mrs) Kiran Luthra highlighted the importance and need of extension lectures. The vote of thanks was moved by the staff secretary Mrs. Shefali Sharma.
