Early Times Report CHANDIGARH, July 8: The Postgraduate Department of Hindi at Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women stands as a vibrant hub for the promotion and enrichment of the Hindi language. Since its inception, the department has consistently earned accolades through its academic achievements and cultural contributions. With a dynamic team of highly qualified faculty and robust infrastructure, the department has established itself as a centre of excellence in Hindi studies. Dedicated to nurturing literary talent, the department actively encourages students to engage in research, and creative writing, and upgrade pronunciation skills. Students are provided with grants for research and are encouraged to participate in national and international seminars, fostering a global outlook towards Hindi literature. The department takes pride in its students' consistent success at Youth Festivals and national-level competitions in essay writing, poetry, storytelling, and reading.
