GDC Kathua organizes insightful presentation

KATHUA, July 9: The NCC Units of Government Degree College Kathua in collaboration with 401 (Independent) Artillery Brigade, organized a meaningful and informative session on "Operation Sindoor" on 9th July 2025 in the college premises. The event was held under the patronage of Dr. Savi Behl, Principal of the College, whose continuous support and visionary guidance made the conduct of the programme possible. The key highlight of the event was a detailed PowerPoint presentation delivered by Brigadier Tajinder Choudhary, Commander, 401 (Independent) Artillery Brigade, who elaborated on the operational, strategic, and human aspects of Operation Sindoor. His address was highly enriching and inspired both cadets and faculty with authentic insights and patriotic fervor.
The programme was jointly coordinated by Lt. (Dr.) Daya Ram, Associate NCC Officer, and Dr. Pinkey, while Lt. (Dr.) Daya Ram also carried out the proceedings of the event. A moment of great pride came when NCC Cadet Mohit Knathia, who recently scaled Mount Everest, was felicitated by Brigadier Tajinder Choudhary, appreciating his exceptional achievement on behalf of the college and the NCC fraternity.
The formal Vote of Thanks was presented by Prof. Rakesh Singh, Head, Department of Chemistry, who acknowledged the contribution of all dignitaries and attendees.
The event was further graced by the presence of respected faculty members including Prof. Ravinder Kour (Convener IQAC), Prof. Yash Pal, Prof. Ram Singh, Prof. Kehar Singh, and Mr. Sandeep Sharma, all of whom appreciated the relevance and depth of the session.
