| Congressmen ‘pledge’ support to Lone | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Apr 29- A senior Congressman and close aide of party leader Taj-Mohi-ud-din on Wednesday extended his support to the Peoples Conference, Chairman, Sajad Gani Lone, who is contesting parliamentary elections from North Kashmir’s Baramulla constituency.
Sources said that senior Congressmen including Rafiq Bulwat, considered to be close aide of Taj-Mohi-ud-din on Wednesday convened a meeting at Town hall at Lagama in North Kashmir’s Uri Township and asked his party workers to vote for Lone in the coming parliamentary elections.
“While addressing the party delegates, Bulwat asked them to make every effort to ensure victory of Sajad Gani Lone. He asked his workers to run an effective campaign in the area for the PC Chairman,” sources added.
They said other congress activists who spoke on the occasion including Shabir Ahmad Magriyal, Rafiq Ahmad, Master Tasaduq and Master Azad khan. Sources said that these leaders also announced to support Lone in the parliamentary elections.
