Special Trains to be run by NFR to accommodate extra passenger rush during Shravani Mela

Maligaon, July 9: Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR), has decided to operate (03) three pairs of special trains to accommodate the extra footfall of passengers during Shravani Mela. The trains will run between Dibrugarh – Deoghar, Katihar – Deoghar and Katihar – Manihari.
Special train no. 05926 (Dibrugarh – Deoghar) special will depart from Dibrugarh at 09:40 hours from 10th July to 09th August, 2025 on every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday to reach Deoghar at 20:25 hours on next day. Similarly, train no. 05925 (Deoghar – Dibrugarh) Special will depart from Deoghar at 21:55 hours from 11th July to 10th August, 2025 on every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday to reach Dibrugarh at 08:30 hours on third day. Both the trains will run for 23 trips.
Special train no. 05716 (Katihar – Deogarh) special will depart from Katihar at 14:20 hours from 10th July to 07th August, 2025 on every Thursday to reach Deogarh at 04:15 hours on next day. Similarly, train no. 05715 (Deogarh – Katihar) Special will depart from Deogarh at 05:45 hours from 11th July to 08th August, 2025 on every Friday to reach Katihar at 21:20 hours on same day. Both the trains will run for 05 trips.
Special train no. 07540 (Katihar – Manihari) special will depart from Katihar at 20:30 hours from 01st to 31st July, 2025 daily to reach Manihari at 21:30 hours on same day. Similarly, train no. 07539 (Manihari – Katihar) Special will depart from Manihari at 05:00 hours from 02nd July to 01st August, 2025 daily to reach Katihar at 06:00 hours on same day. Both the trains will run for 31 trips.
The details of routes, stoppages and timings of these trains are available at IRCTC website and social media platforms of N. F. Railway. Passengers are requested to verify the details before undertaking their train journeys.
