Pak Stands Exposed
7/9/2025 10:46:59 PM
Recently Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said that people of Jammu and Kashmir have realized that their future is secure with India and they have realized that Pakistan is their biggest enemy, and has only one agenda i.e. to destroy the Union Territory.
LG Sinha’ statement reflects the sentiments of J&K people, who have been suffering due to the violence and bloodshed orchestrated in the region by Pakistan for the past three decades.
For over three decades, Pakistan has pursued a singular, destructive agenda in Jammu and Kashmir — to destabilize the region and hinder its development through sponsored terrorism. The scars of this proxy war are etched deep in the lives of thousands of innocent civilians, security personnel, and families who have suffered irreparable losses.
People have rejected terror are also actively standing against it. The emergence of street protests against Pakistan-backed terrorists in Kashmir marked a significant turning point. It reflected the public’s desire to reclaim their land, peace, and future from the clutches of terror.
LG Sinha rightly pointed out that while the security forces continue to play a crucial role in eliminating terrorism, society too must rise to the occasion. The social fabric must no longer be allowed to be exploited by extremist elements. Communities, religious leaders, and youth — all have an essential role in fostering peace and preventing radical ideologies from taking root.
The growing cooperation between civilians and security forces, the increased participation in democratic processes, and the rising trust in institutions are encouraging signs of a society that wants to move beyond conflict.
Recently held conference of tourism secretaries from across the Union Territories was a symbol of a changing narrative. It was a demonstration of normalcy returning to the region and a powerful rebuttal to forces that still wish to project Kashmir as a disturbed place.
The transformation underway in Jammu and Kashmir has been enabled by a governance approach that prioritizes development, infrastructure, investment, and inclusive growth. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Union Territory is witnessing rapid progress — from better connectivity and healthcare to education and digital inclusion.
LG Sinha’s vision of an “unstoppable force” is not mere rhetoric; it reflects the ground reality of a society determined to move forward. Peace is no longer a distant dream; it is becoming a lived reality — one that the people of J&K have fought hard to reclaim.
