| DGP reviews security arrangements for Anantnag Lok Sabha Polls | | | Early Times Reporter Srinagar, Apr 29-The Director General of Police Kuldeep Khuda on Wednesday reviewed the security arrangements for third phase of Lok Sabha Elections in the State. The meeting also discussed the opening of Civil Secretariat and other Darbar Move offices in the summer capital on May.4. According to reports the security arrangements that have been put in place for the elections that are to be held on Thursday in Anantnag Parliamentary constituency were discussed threadbare. The DG issued instructions for ensuring security for smooth and peaceful polling for the constituency. He emphasized for ensuring the best possible security arrangement asserting at the same time that people should not be put to any sort of inconvenience. Khuda also reviewed the security arrangements for opening of the Civil Secretariat and other Darbar Move offices here on May, 4. During the meeting the DGP asked the traffic department to ensure smooth flow of traffic in the summer capital by strict enforcement of traffic rules and regulations. The meeting was attended by senior officers of Police, CRPF and other security agencies.
