JAMMU, July 10: The J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages organized an literary programme titled "Meet the Author" under the able guidance of Ms. Harvinder Kour, Secretary, JKAACL to honour the celebrated Hindi writer Anila Singh Charak, recognizing her immense contributions to Hindi literature.
Dr. Javaid Rahi, Divisional Head, JKAACL, Jammu extended a warm welcome to the guests and participants. In his address, he elaborated that the main objective of this series is to document the lives and works of poets, writers, and artists of Jammu & Kashmir. She praised Anila Singh Charak's literary achievements, stating that her work consistently highlights the voices of women, social challenges, and cultural values.
The programme featured a thoughtful and comprehensive paper presentation by Dr. Monojit Singh, who reflected on the literary journey, themes, and stylistic depth of Anila Charak's writing.
Anila Charak is an Eminent Poetess, Gazalkar, and Satirist, Former Principal, DAE (AEES), Mumbai During the session titled "Main Aur Meri Sahityik Yatra", Ms. Charak shared her personal and literary journey, spanning over five decades. She spoke about her evolution as a writer, the challenges she encountered as a woman in the literary world, and her commitment to creating literature that embodies truth, resilience, and the human spirit.
