Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 10: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta, today paid obeisance to Hridayadeep Ji Maharaj at the Jeevan Nagar Ashram, Jammu, on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima. His visit was part of the Bharatiya Janata Party's outreach initiative on Guru Purnima to connect with saints and spiritual leaders who have been pivotal in guiding society through their wisdom and selfless service.
Speaking on the occasion, Kavinder Gupta said that Guru Purnima is not just a religious celebration but a moment of deep spiritual reflection and reverence towards the Gurus who enlighten our path with values, discipline, and dharma. He said, "Saints and Gurus are the moral beacons of society. Their teachings guide us towards righteous living and national consciousness. India has always drawn strength from its spiritual heritage, and it is the saints who have preserved and propagated it through generations."
The senior BJP leader further added that in today's fast-changing world, the teachings of revered saints like Hridayadeep Ji Maharaj are more relevant than ever, as they promote inner peace, communal harmony, and a sense of duty towards society and the nation. "The role of saints in nation-building is immense. They inspire character, integrity, and unity, which are the very foundations of a strong and vibrant Bharat," he said.
The former Deputy Chief Minister extended his heartfelt greetings to the devotees and spiritual community on this auspicious occasion and lauded the efforts of the Jeevan Nagar Ashram in upholding the values of Sanatan Dharma and spreading the message of universal brotherhood.
Prominent members of the ashram, BJP workers, and local devotees were also present on the occasion.
