| Notorious drug peddler behind cars, contraband Heroin recovered | | |  early times report
Udhampur, July 12: Police Team of Police Station Udhampur led by its SHO while performing Patrolling/checking duty at circular road, intercepted one suspicious person who attempted to evade the police by turning back and walking away upon noticing the patrolling team which raised further suspicion.
On the frisking of said person namely Ajay Kumar @Aju S/O Ramesh Kumar R/O W.No.17 H.No. 215 Near Santoshi Mata Mandir Udhampur.
Police team recovered 3.10 grams of Heroin like contraband substance from the above said accused person who has been arrested on spot.
In this regard, A Case FIR No. 252/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS Udhampur.
Further investigation of the case is underway.
