Successful organization of Prime Minister's Rozgar Mela in Bhopal

BHOPAL, July 12: West Central Railway, Bhopal Division, successfully organized the Prime Minister's Rozgar Mela today at the Railway Auditorium, Narmada Railway Club, Habibganj. During the event, appointment letters were distributed to newly selected candidates appointed in various ministries and departments of the Central Government.
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed approximately 51,000 newly recruited candidates across the country via video conferencing and extended his best wishes for their new roles in public service. He urged the youth to actively participate in the nation-building process.
In the local ceremony held in Bhopal, Hon'ble Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers Welfare and Ministry of Panchayati Raj and Rural Development, Government of India, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. He handed over appointment letters to 261 newly appointed candidates - 201 of whom were selected in the Railway Department and 60 in other central departments such as Banking, CISF, Narcotics Control Bureau, Postal Department, etc.
In his address, Shri Chouhan highlighted Prime Minister Modi's commitment to employment generation and termed the Rozgar Mela as a significant step towards empowering the youth and building an Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-reliant India). He urged the newly recruited candidates to work with honesty, dedication, and a spirit of service.
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Shri Saurabh Kataria informed that the entire event was well-organized and the newly appointed candidates along with their families participated enthusiastically in the ceremony.
Senior Divisional Personnel Officer Shri Vijay Singh shared that the first 30 appointment letters were handed over by the Chief Guest, while the remaining letters were distributed by departmental officials and other special guests.
The event was graced by the presence of senior railway officials, representatives from various departments, invited public representatives, and media personnel.
Among the dignitaries present were Hon'ble Minister for Sports & Youth Welfare and Cooperation Shri Vishwas Sarang, Hon'ble Minister of State for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare (Independent Charge) Smt. Krishna Gaur, Hon'ble MP from Bhopal Shri Alok Sharma, Hon'ble MLA Huzur Shri Rameshwar Sharma, Hon'ble MLA Bhopal (South-West) Shri Bhagwandas Sabnani, other public representatives, officers from central government departments, selected candidates, and members of the media.
