| Scribe’s victim tests positive | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, April 29: The Gandhi Nagar police today received positive test report of a girl, who was allegedly abducted and raped by the Sunil Khatri, a TV scribe. The police have been granted permission from the court for five days remand of the accused for further investigation. During investigation police came to know that the accused was actually hailing from Poonch. It was in 1971 that the family shifted to Bombay where his brother and father died. He then shifted to Delhi where he joined a local newspaper and tried his hand in electronic media and was deputed in Jamshedpur where he purchased a house. He then deputed in Punjab and later joined TV channel in Jammu where he entangled younger sister of a female reporter who is a student of Frankfin School in Gandhi Nagar and luring her of providing good job grabbed rupees one lakh from the family. He took the girl in Delhi where he repeatedly raped her and shoot her naked movie. Police put her for medical test and received positive test today. “Initially during investigation, in order to put the police on wrong track he went unconscious three times and was taken to hospital where doctors confirmed him all right and when he realized that he could not escape from the clutches of police revealed truth, his wife and a son who came to police station also went back to Jamshedpur”, sources informed.
