Early Times Report JAMMU, July 14: The Central University of Jammu has once again demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence, with its SWAYAM-NPTEL Local Chapter being awarded an 'A' Grade for the third consecutive time in the recently declared results of the NPTEL SWAYAM January-July 2025 session. This consistent recognition reflects the University's outstanding performance in online learning initiatives. In this session alone, 28 students were awarded Gold Medals, 237 students received Silver Medals, and 335 students earned Elite Certifications. Furthermore, 8 students ranked in the top 1%, 3 students in the top 2%, and 21 students in the top 5% at the national level-an impressive feat highlighting the dedication and excellence of CU Jammu's learners. The National Program on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) is a flagship initiative by the IITs and IISc, funded by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, offering self-study online certification courses in engineering, science, and humanities through the SWAYAM platform. Congratulating the students and faculty, Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Jain remarked, "This achievement is a reflection of our continued efforts to empower students with the best learning resources beyond the classroom. Securing an 'A' grade for the third time and ranking among the top 100 institutions in India is indeed a proud moment for the university." He also appreciated the contributions of Prof. J. N. Baliya, SPOC, SWAYAM-NPTEL Local Chapter, for his committed efforts in coordinating and promoting this initiative.
