Early Times Report RAJOURI, July 14: As part of its ongoing outreach efforts under Operation Sadbhavna, the Indian Army successfully organized a T20 Cricket Tournament at Government High School, Keri. The event was designed to promote sportsmanship, strengthen community ties and engage the local youth in positive and constructive activities. A total of 16 cricket teams from Keri and nearby villages participated in the tournament. The matches which were held over several days, attracted an enthusiastic crowd and showcased a spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie among the players. The final match held today, was attended by officers of the Indian Army who interacted with the players and local residents. They commended the players for their zeal, discipline and team spirit, encouraging them to continue participating in such positive initiatives. This event further reinforced the bond between the Indian Army and the local community, sending a strong message of unity, development and peace in the region. |
