| Supervisors, Booth Level Officers imparted orientation training at Udhampur | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, July 14: A day long training program for supervisors and Booth Level officers was today organized by the District Administration Udhampur here in the Conference Hall of DC Office Complex.
The training session held under the supervision of District Election Officer Saloni Rai, aimed to equip the participants with in-depth knowledge of constitutional provisions related to elections and familiarize them with their pivotal roles and responsibilities in the electoral process.
The session emphasized the role of BLOs as the grassroots facilitators of the Election Commission of India and stressed the need for accuracy, transparency and accountability in maintaining electoral rolls.
The Participants were also sensitized about the procedures for submission of claims and objections regarding the draft roll and the process of appealing before the competent authority in case of disputes related to inclusion or deletion of names in the Draft Electoral Roll. |
