| Jammu Police seizes two tippers for Illegal Mining | | |

Jammu, July 15: Continuing its sustained efforts to curb illegal mining under Operation Ploughing, Jammu Police, South Zone, seized two tippers involved in unauthorized transportation of minor minerals.
In the first incident, Police Post Phallian Mandal intercepted a tipper bearing registration number JK02DJ6986, which was found engaged in illegal mining activity. The vehicle was seized on the spot during routine patrolling and checking.
In a separate incident, Police Post Belicharana seized a tipper bearing registration number JK02CC1448 loaded with crushed stone being transported without any valid permission or supporting documents.
Both cases have been referred to the DMO Jammu for further necessary action under relevant legal provisions.
These enforcement actions were taken under the overall supervision of SP City South and SDPO South, Jammu.
Jammu Police remains committed to taking firm action against illegal mining and urges the public to report any such violations to their nearest police station or police control room.
