JAMMU, July 15: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir, held a joint organizational review meeting of District Jammu North and District Akhnoor at Purkhoo today. The meeting was presided by BJP State President Sh. Sat Sharma and attended by Vice President BJP & MLA Jammu North Sh. Sham Lal Sharma, MLA Akhnoor Sh. Mohan Lal Bhagat, MLA Marh Sh. Surinder Bhagat, Sh. Nand Kishore Sharma, District President Jammu North, Sh. Kuldeep Sharma, District President Akhnoor, and Ms. Devyani Rana, State Vice President BJYM.
The primary agenda was to assess the ongoing activities of both districts, review the functioning and booth-level preparedness, and chalk out an action plan for the effective execution of the party's forthcoming initiatives, particularly the #BLA2 campaign.
BJP State President Sh. Sat Sharma emphasized the importance of organizational discipline, booth-level empowerment, and timely execution of responsibilities. He stated, "Our core strength lies in our structured network of committed workers. The #BLA2 campaign must be executed with full seriousness to ensure complete booth coverage and grassroots mobilization."
He added, "Both Jammu North and Akhnoor districts are strategically significant, and we must work with unity, dedication, and accountability to ensure that every booth reflects the spirit and vision of the party. Regular monitoring and capacity-building of booth workers are the need of the hour."
Sat Sharma further emphasized that the coming months are critical for the party's grassroots mobilization, and every karyakarta must work with renewed energy and purpose. He said, "This is not just an organizational exercise, it is a mission to empower every booth with clarity, capability, and connectivity. We must ensure that our message, our schemes, and our leadership vision reach every household through the strength of our booth-level teams."
Sat Sharma further said that close coordination between elected representatives and party organizations is essential for seamless execution of public-centric programs. He said, "Our MLAs and district teams must work hand-in-hand to ensure that the voice of the people is heard and addressed effectively through both governance and organizational action." He also took note of the concern raised over the Setup new toll plaza on the Jammu-Akhnoor highway at Khati Chowk in Malpur Panchayat, and assured that the party would take up the matter with the concerned authorities , keeping in view the interests of the local population and daily commuters.
The concerned MLAs from the respective districts-Sh. Sham Lal Sharma (Jammu North), Sh. Mohan Lal Bhagat (Akhnoor), and Sh. Surinder Bhagat (Marh)-shared valuable suggestions to enhance on-ground performance. They collectively stressed the importance of effective communication with the public, improved coordination with booth-level karyakartas, and the implementation of constituency-specific outreach programs. They also emphasized the need to align party strategy with public sentiment and grassroots realities.
District Presidents Sh. Nand Kishore Sharma and Sh. Kuldeep Sharma presented comprehensive reports on current organizational status, progress on the BLA2 campaign, and district-wise activities. They proposed intensified training sessions for Booth Prabharis, Panna Pramukhs, and BLAs to further strengthen the party's presence at the booth level.
Devyani Devinder Rana, State Vice President BJYM, called for greater youth engagement and digital mobilization. She also shared several important suggestions to further strengthen the role of youth in the organizational structure and enhance the party's visibility in emerging voter segments.
