Jammu, July 16: In a commendable display of prompt action and effective teamwork, Police Station R.S. Pura successfully recovered a lost purse containing important documents and cash within 24 hours of receiving the complaint.
On July 15, 2025, at around 1700 hrs, Raghbir Singh Khajuria, S/o Kala Singh Khajuria, R/o Badyal Brahmana, RS Pura — Founder Chairman cum President of Sewa National Social Organization reported the loss of his purse.
The missing items included approximately ₹15,000 in cash, ATM card, Aadhaar card, PAN card, and a driving license.
Under the supervision of SHO Police Station R.S. Pura,Inspector Ravi Singh Parihar, a dedicated police team was immediately constituted to trace the missing belongings. By leveraging local intelligence, reviewing CCTV footage, and acting swiftly on technical inputs, the team succeeded in recovering all the lost items, including ₹15,280 in cash, within a day.
The recovered belongings were formally handed over to the complainant, who expressed heartfelt gratitude for the timely and efficient efforts of the police.
This prompt recovery reflects the Jammu Police’s commitment to public service and swift response in addressing citizens' concerns.
