| 2 most notorious drug peddlers arrested with heroin by Udhampur Police | | |

Udhampur, July 16: Police team from Police Station Udhampur led by its SHO while performing routine patrolling duty at Battal Ballian- Londana road stopped one vehicle (car) bearing registration number JK14J-4703 for checking purposes.
Upon conducting a thorough frisking of the driver and co-driver, police team recovered 12.20 grams of heroin (chitta) like Contraband substance from their possession .
The arrested individuals have been identified as :-
1) Tarun Sharma S/O Des Raj R/O Near CEO office Dandyal.(6.20 grams)
2) Sushant Singh S/O Ramesh Singh R/O Near Triloki Nath Mandir Barrian, Udhampur. (6 grams)
On this, a case vide FIR No. 257/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act stands registered in P/S Udhampur and further investigation was set into probe.
