| Mufti hiding nexus with BJP: Sadhotra | | | Early Times Report Jammu Apr 30 Taking strong expectation to the statement of PDP Patron Mufti Mohammed Sayeed regarding ‘NC an extension of Congress’, senior National Conference leader, former Minister and Member J&K Legislative Council Ajay Sadhotra said that the PDP Patron just to hide their nexus with the BJP is issuing such statement. He said PDP leadership has been exposed both in the state and the country that this party is actually a creation of BJP which funded and supported it to weaken the voice of people of Jammu and Kashmir and serve BJP’s interest in the state. Sadhotra said PDP’s every action is to promote the hidden agenda of the BJP in Jammu and Kashmir and the imaginary idea of self rule floated by PDP is also on the behest of BJP to create a situation of confusion and divide the people on one pretext or the other. He said the dual face of PDP has already come to fore and the unholy nexus between this party with the BJP is now an open secret. He said the PDP has no basic concept of self rule but this slogan has been introduced on the behest of BJP to weaken the most viable and acceptable formula given by the J&K National Conference and adopted by J&K Legislative Assembly i.e. restoration of Autonomy in the state. He said National Conference is a party with a glorious history and its roots are in the masses, while as PDP is the brain child of BJP and is working on the dictates of its masters in BJP at Delhi. He said National Conference has always played an important role in providing political stability and responsive administration in the state. The party would continue to work towards this goal , he added. Sadhotra said the people of the state have a bitter experience of the PDP during it tenure of government during which this party brought the bad name to the state by nurturing corruption and malpractices. He said adding that the agenda of PDP during their rule was to give fillip to corruption and encourage the divisive politics for petty political gains. “The people of the state have not forgotten the divisive role played by the PDP and BJP during Amarnath land row”, he said. He expressed confidence that people of Jammu and Kashmir have experienced hollow slogans of PDP and have seen through their (PDP’s) politics of deceit and disharmony and now the slogans of Mufti will not be paid any heed by the people of the state. He appealed to the people to strengthen the hands of National Conference by casting vote in its favour for socio-political and economic development of the state.
