Hope Replaces Fear
7/17/2025 10:18:30 PM
Recently Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said that PM Modi since 2019 has built a fear and terror free J&K, which would make its place among the developed states and UTs as a symbol of peace.
He reiterated the resolve of the Government of India, Police and the security forces to completely wipe out the entire terror ecosystem and establish a lasting peace in Jammu Kashmir.
LG Sinha referred to the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam and made it clear that Bharat believes in establishing peace and not buying peace.
During the past few years the writ of the Indian State has been completely established in J&K and the separatism has been wiped out.
Today, the common citizens of Kashmir have understood that their future lies with India and youth are being guided towards building a more prosperous future for J&K and their growing involvement is instrumental in this transformative journey.
The local terrorist recruitment is at an all-time low. The decisive action against terrorism and their facilitators and thorough investigations against those trying to radicalize the youth has ensured that peace prevails.
Today, the people of Kashmir are embracing this change. The youth, once vulnerable to manipulation and radicalisation, are now being empowered and encouraged to shape their own futures. Be it through education, entrepreneurship, sports, or public service, the younger generation is becoming the cornerstone of a peaceful and prosperous Jammu and Kashmir. Their increasing participation in mainstream governance and development is a testament to their faith in a united and democratic India. The success in curbing separatism and terrorism is also deeply tied to improved governance and development. Infrastructure has been upgraded, connectivity has improved, and investments are being encouraged. Tourism is witnessing a revival, and the local economy is showing signs of resilience. From Panchayat empowerment to digital transformation, the administration has worked to ensure that every citizen feels included in the journey of progress. As the LG rightly pointed out, Jammu and Kashmir is poised to emerge as a developed and peaceful region. The transformation underway is not just about eliminating terror—it is about creating an environment where peace becomes irreversible, development becomes inclusive, and hope replaces fear. That, indeed, is the real victory for Jammu and Kashmir, and for India.
