| Tree plantation drive by CISF Unit ASG Jammu | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 17: It is submitted that as a part of our commitment to a healthier environment and community engagement, CISF Unit ASG Jammu has proudly organized a Tree Plantation Drive at two esteemed institutions in Jammu Cantt. i.e Govt.Model Middle School Satwari Cantt. Jammu and Govt. Boys High School Jammu Cantt. on 17.07.2025 from 08:00 hours to 10:00 hours, aiming to nurturing a greener, healthier environment and instilling environmental awareness among the youth.
Event Highlights:-
o Planted 250 native saplings across both the school campuses.
o Demonstration carried out on proper planting, watering and aftercare of Saplings.
o Educational insights has been done on the ecological importance of trees like:-
"Planting a tree is more than just sowing. It is planting hope, improving air quality, and building lifelong stewardship for our planet. Trees act as lungs for our environment and living testament to our collective responsibility"
o Interactive sessions has also been carried out to engage personnel and students in planning green activities. |
