| Zulfikar demands adequate rations to Darhal-Budhal constituency | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 30- Criticizing the present government for its failure to provide basic amenities of life like food supplies to the poor and needy public of district Rajouri in general and Darhal-Budhal area in particular the MLA Darhal Chowdhary Zulfikar has demanded that ration and other supplies of basic amenities be provided to the public without any fail.
The MLA said that while the food grains were being provided to the public in the whole State of Jammu and Kashmir during the previous regime of the PDP-Congress but from the date the present Coalition Government has come into power the public is suffering for this basic amenity of life and there is every likelihood of large scale hue and cry among the public of the area leading to law and order problem.
Due to having insufficient quantity of agriculture land as also owing to the locational disadvantage due to hilly and vertical terrains of the area, the people are not able get the crop for more than one or two months as a result of which they are solely dependent on the ration being provided by the Government through Public Distribution System for rest of the period of the year.
The Public of the area has the constitutional right to get food and other supplies for essential commodities at their door step without any fail and our being welfare State is responsible and duty bound to meet the requirement of the public on priority
