The World Stands with Bharat, A Resounding Blow to Pakistan-Backed Terrorism: Gaurav
7/18/2025 10:57:28 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 18: BJP Spokesperson Gaurav Gupta strongly welcomed the United States Government's decision to designate The Resistance Front (TRF)-a Pakistan-sponsored proxy of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT)-as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO). Calling it a "global acknowledgement of India's long-standing position against cross-border terrorism," Gupta said this move vindicates what India has consistently raised at international forums: that terrorism in Jammu & Kashmir is not indigenous, but systematically exported, funded, and facilitated by Pakistan. He said, "The barbaric attack in Pahalgam which took the lives of innocent civilians and brave security personnel was not an isolated act, but part of a larger agenda driven by Pakistan's terror ecosystem. The TRF is merely a rebranded arm of Lashkar-e-Taiba, operating under a new name to mislead the global community."
He lauded the decisive leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji and the strategic vision of Home Minister Amit Shah Ji, under whom India has proactively exposed Pakistan's terror designs at the UN, FATF, and in high-level bilateral engagements.
Gupta said, This designation by the U.S. will freeze TRF's financial channels, restrict their international operations, and send a clear signal that the global community will no longer turn a blind eye to Pakistan's terror proxies. He further added, "No amount of deceit-whether disguised as resistance, revolution, or religion-can cover up the reality of terror. Today, the world has called it out."
Reaffirming India's unwavering resolve, Gupta emphasized that the Government is fully committed to ensuring lasting peace, stability, and development in Jammu & Kashmir. "Every citizen deserves a life of dignity, security, and opportunity. We are working relentlessly to make that a reality, free from the shadows of fear and violence," he said. He added, "This latest step by the United States shows that India's stand against terrorism is now a shared global conviction. Together with the international community, we move forward-united in purpose, resolute in action-for a safer and stronger Bharat."
