| Kathua police arrests absconder evading arrest | | |  Early Times Report
KATHUA, July 18: In continuation to its drive against the Absconders/Criminals, Kathua Police apprehended an absconder who was wanted in a case FIR registered at Police Station Billawar and evading arrest for the last 03 years.
A Police team of Police Station Billawar led by SHO PS Billawar Insp. Zaheer Mushtaq under the guidance of SDPO Billawar Sh. Neeraj Padyar and overall supervision of SSP Kathua Sh. Shobhit Saksena IPS succeeded in apprehending an absconder namely Rashid @ Miyan S/o Faroz Din R/o Galak Tehsil Ramkot Distt Kathua wanted in case FIR No. 23 /2022 U/S 382/341/323/506/201/380 IPC of Police Station Billawar and was evading his arrest for a long time.
Accordingly, the said absconder was produced in the court of law. The arrest warrant U/S 512 CrPC issued against him got executed and accused has been lodged in District Jail Kathua. |
