Mega awareness camp for saturation of Financial Inclusion Schemes organized

KISHTWAR, July 19: A Mega Awareness Camp for saturation of Financial Inclusion schemes was organized today at Chatroo.
The camp was held on the directions of District Development Commissioner (DDC) Pankaj Kumar Sharma and in collaboration with the Tehsildar Chatroo, Lead District Manager (LDM), J&K Bank Chatroo, SBI RSETI and the Line Departments.
The camp aimed to spread awareness about financial inclusion, social security schemes, cyber safety, and skill development opportunities. LDM Harsh Rawal provided a detailed briefing on several social security schemes, including PMJDY, PMSBY, PMJJBY and Atal Pension Yojana (APY). He encouraged participants to avail the benefits of these government-sponsored schemes aimed at financial inclusion and social security. The LDM also highlighted the importance of cyber security awareness, advising participants to avoid sharing sensitive banking information or clicking on suspicious links to prevent cyber fraud.
Faculty members from SBI RSETI Kishtwar gave a comprehensive overview of free training programs, encouraging participants to enroll in skill development courses that promote self-employment and entrepreneurship in the region.
The camp witnessed active participation from locals, serving as an important platform to spread awareness about financial inclusion, social security schemes, cyber safety and skill development opportunities.
