Police arrest two drug peddlers; heroin seized

REASI, July 20: Continuing its drive against drug menace, Reasi Police today apprehended two drug peddlers and recovered 1.90 grams of heroin (chitta-like substance) from their possession during a special Naka checking at Mari.
The apprehended individuals have been identified as Balwant Singh @ Kalu S/O Jai Singh and Parivesh Singh @ Munna S/O Paras Ram both residents of Challadh Arnas, presently residing at Mari, Reasi.
A case FIR No. 122/2025 under sections 8/21/22 of NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Reasi and further investigation is ongoing. has been entrusted to
The action was taken by the team of Police Station Reasi, led by SHO Police Station Reasi, Insp. Ranjeet Singh Rao and Dy.SP Prob. Sakshi Nagar-JKPS, under the overall supervision of Dy.SP Hqrs. Reasi Vishal Singh Jamwal and Addl. SP Reasi Iftkhar Ahmed-JKPS
