Chandigarh, July 21: Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women proudly celebrates the exceptional accomplishments of its student, Ishroop Narang, an international judoka and second-year BA student, who has brought great honour to the institution and the nation through her remarkable performances in prestigious judo championships at both international and national levels. Under the expert guidance of her coach Mr. Vivek Thakur, Ishroop has clinched several top titles, showcasing her extraordinary talent and perseverance: Gold Medal – Junior Asian Cup 2025, Taipei, Taiwan, Bronze Medal – Junior Asian Judo Championship 2024, Republic of Korea, Gold Medal – 38th National Games 2024, Uttarakhand, Gold Medal – Senior National Judo Championship 2024, Delhi, Gold Medal – Junior National Judo Championship 2024, Uttarakhand Officiating Principal Ms. Neena Sharma expressed her pride in Ishroop’s accomplishments, stating that she exemplifies the spirit of excellence that MCM stands for. She added that her victories are a result of her relentless commitment, the strategic mentorship of her coach, and the nurturing environment provided by the college.
