| Farooq questions Mufti’s ‘poll boycott’ | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar April 30: The President J&K National Conference Dr. Farooq Abdullah, has denounced the dual standard of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed for not casting his vote in today’s conducted polls for Anantnag parliamentary constituency in Kashmir division.
Questioning the credibility of PDP’s Patron, Dr. Abdullah asked him to openly declare before the people to whom he and his owned party represent. “What can they expect from others when they themselves do not cast their vote”, he said.
Dr. Farooq Abdullah was reacting to Mufti Sayeed’s abstaining from vote in the today’s held Parliamentary polls. Ridiculing the dual and deceitful policy of PDP the National Conference President said that today the action of not casting vote once again unveiled the double face of PDP’s leadership who have always indulged in double speak and deceit. Dr. Abdullah said that this action of PDP leadership is clear indication that Mufti’s policy is to run with the hare and hunt with the hound.
He asked the people to understand this dual face and beware of the deceitful tactics of the PDP and its leadership. Dr. Abdullah said that PDP’s unholy nexus with BJP has already come to fore and their today’s behavior exposes their other face.
“At one hand Mufti want to villy -nilly seek the power and on the other play to the gallery”, he said and added such type of politics is rejected one and dangerously detrimental to the political system and democracy.
