| K.C. Public School students selected for national karate c’ship | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 1: Seven students of K.C. Public School have been selected to represent J&K state in the 4th All India SEIKO KAI KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP 2009 to be held at Bapu Samaj Auditorium, New Delhi from 2nd May to 4th May 2009. Students of K.C. Public School who have been selected for the championship are –Gouresh P Singh of Class IV, Anwar Janbaz of Class VI, Manik Jandial, Saadat Hujti, Yamini Gupta of Class VIII and Abhishek Sharma of Class IX. All of them are state champions in their events and have won many medals in various national events in the past also. They will be participating in KATA and KUMITEE events. Principal of K.C. Public School Jorawar Singh congratulated the participants on their selection and appreciated the efforts of School Karate coach Ambedkar Gupta in a special assembly organized in the school.
