7/24/2025 7:42:56 PM

early times report

DODA, July 24: In preparation for the 79th Independence Day celebrations, the Chief Education Officer Doda today convened a comprehensive meeting with Heads of Institutions (HOIs) from both Government and Private schools falling within the municipal townships in the district.
The session was aimed at finalizing all necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth, dignified and deeply patriotic observance of the national event.
Also present during the meeting were District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Jaffer Haider Sheikh, along with officials from the DYSSO Office, who assured their full cooperation for the successful and coordinated conduct of the celebrations.
The CEO issued detailed instructions to all HOIs. A key directive mandates that each school—government or private—must prepare and present one cultural or patriotic performance. These presentations will be subject to a rigorous screening process conducted by a district-level evaluation committee.
To ensure seamless execution, institutions were directed to arrange essential materials such as National Flags, flagstaffs, cotton cords and other ceremonial items well in advance.
In addition, schools and offices were instructed to properly decorate and illuminate their premises to reflect the festive spirit of Independence Day. Institutions must also ensure the safe storage and timely uploading of high-quality videos documenting various celebratory activities.
The meeting concluded with a collective call for unity, coordination and active participation from all stakeholders to celebrate the 79th Independence Day with unparalleled enthusiasm, discipline and national pride across the Doda district.
