Udhampur, July 24: In a grand celebration at Dharamshala, Priti Khajuria from Udhampur was officially appointed as the Chairman of Inner Wheel District 307, covering Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir. The ceremony, held under the 41st District Assembly titled “Kshitij… Ek Nayi Udaan”, was graced by International Inner Wheel’s 50th Association President, Jyoti Mahipal, who honored Khajuria with the chairman’s collar. Over 300 enthusiastic members from various clubs across the three states participated. Priti Khajuria, humbled by the appointment, dedicated the honor to God and expressed pride in leading a district that has driven positive change for 41 years. She pledged to continue working in areas such as women’s empowerment, education, healthcare, environmental protection, and youth development under the theme “Step Up and Lead by Example.” New initiatives were announced, including Inner Wheel Udhampur’s project “Meri Kitab”, aiming to distribute 5000 notebooks, and Dharamshala club’s tree plantation and cloth bag distribution drives. Priti thanked her predecessors, team, and supporters, urging all members to work with passion and unity for a stronger, more impactful Inner Wheel.
